Victoria A. Singer is a Doctor of Clinical Psychology in private practice in Monterey, California. She was drawn to the foundation to share in the goal of inspiring young minds to explore and achieve their highest potential in personal, community and global consciousness for the betterment of mankind and our planet.
Victoria began her studies in the field of psychology in 1987 following extensive travel and spiritual practice that led to her pursuit of a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (an East-West program) in San Francisco. She served her internships with the University of California at Davis Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics, Child Protection Center; and in private practice with an Adult/Adolescent/Child Psychiatrist in Monterey, and the Family Service Agency of Monterey County. During her studies, Victoria served as a researcher and clinician for the Program on Conscious and Unconscious Mental Processes with the University of California at San Francisco Langley Porter Psychiatric Clinic; and the Child Services Research Group at Western Consortium for Public Health in San Francisco. She served as director, researcher and clinician for the Screening and Evaluation Project and the Multi-Ethnic Family Assessment Project at the University of California at Davis Medical Center in Sacramento; and as a clinical counselor for Baker Places, Inc. (an adult mental health residential program), River Oaks Center for Children (a child and adolescent mental health residential program), The Child and Family Institute in Sacramento, and the University of San Francisco Counselling Center. Victoria co-authored an article, published in the Journal of Child Abuse, entitled Screening and Evaluating Abused and Neglected Children Entering Protective Custody.
