War and Peace

Billy Graham said, " that we must have military power to keep the madmen from taking over the world." I agree with him and the biggest proof of this is a man by the name of Adolf Hitler. He had to be one of the biggest madmen of all time. He was going to take over the world and create his dominant race. If there were no military power in the United States and other countries such as Russia and England he might have just done so. Because he had military power backing him politically.
Another great example of needing to have military power is the recent New York City crisis. The Islam extremists that were responsible for those acts were crazy. They won't stop if there is nothing stopping them such as our
U.S. Military. Also if there is no military in our country the Islam extremists or any other terrorists that are just a little afraid of being hunted down and killed for their acts won't be and they will do as they please. So all terrorists would just run wild and cause all the havoc that they could.
One other example is if we had no military power we would have nobody to protect our freedom and our rights as Americans. So if there were no military powers in the United States we probably wouldn't even be Americans.
Billy Graham is an American evangelist, he was designated a minister in
1939 at a southern Baptist church and he began his career. In 1949 he received recognition for an evangelical campaign in Los Angeles. He has preached in most big U.S. cities and many other countries such as Europe, Africa, South Africa, Asia, Russia, and Australia. Billy is also the CO-founder of a popular journal Christianity Today. He retired as the head of the evangelists association in 2000 and his son succeeded him as the leader.
Another quote is " to preserve peace, we need weapons of smaller and men of larger caliber." I believe that the author of this quote meant we need men to step up and not fight over all their petty differences and we wouldn't need all the weapons.
I kind of disagree with this statement because the author said we as in the
United States needs the bigger men it wouldn't help. As in the case of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Cuba had all the right materials and nuclear weapons to destroy America. But we also had all the right weapons, power, and counter weapons to deter them from doing so. Just by talking to our enemies and asking them not to shoot us over a cup of coffee won't work any more. It might have worked way back in the day if they tried because there were so many differences as there are now. In today's age we were to try and talk it out and not have the power to back up what we are saying our enemies would laugh in our face and destroy us.
The Final quote is from Albert Einstein he said " I don't know what kind of weapons will be used in the third world war, assuming there will be a third world war. But I can tell you what the fourth world war will be fought with ---- stone clubs." I believe that Albert was trying to say in this quote that man is going to keep making their weapons better and better and they can only get so good before they destroy themselves and cause the age of man to start all over again.
I completely agree with his statement because as of now if there was to be a world war it may end up as such because of all the countries with nuclear capabilities. It isn't just the big countries with this power now like the US, Russia, China, ext. It is all the third world countries that have figured it out and don't care who they drop an atom bomb on as long as it keeps them from doing it back. I believe that is what is going to end the age of man not some catastrophic meteor that is going to hit the earth and make a big dust cloud, but I believe that we will destroy ourselves. As you can see if someone like a group of the Islam Extremists were to get a hold of some kind of nuclear capabilities they would do some extremely severe damage because they wouldn't care. And there would be retaliation right back and that would be the end, as we know it.
Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879. In 1885 he began attending school. He graduated in 1900 but his professors didn't like him and wouldn't recommend him for a job at the college. For two years he was a tutor and a substitute teacher. But then he secured a job in a Swiss patent office in Bern. In 1905 he received his doctorate for the distortion of molecules. Then he produced two papers the second of which containing his famous equation E=MC2. Einstein passed on April 18, 1955.
In conclusion people are going to think that they are going to have to have a bigger gun then the other to ensure their survival. And there will always have to be military and to keep their lives. But until humanity realizes that there may be ways to talk through your differences and figure out problems without fighting. By the time that third world war comes, we really won't know what the fourth would be fought with or even if there will be humans to fight it.
