“When a self governing people confer upon their government the power to take from some and give to others, the process will not stop until the last bone of the last taxpayers is picked bare,” states Kershner’s first law. This law is something I agree on because some people do not know when and where to stop. Every morning people wake up get ready for a long days work and do not enjoy it but know that it is worth it in the end to go. While others sleep in all day and do not do anything for money but expect others to pay for the taxes and other things. People need to go out and do something with their life, instead of depending on other people to help them out with money situations
In every day life there are people who do not think they should have to work but expect other people to work all the time and pay for the thing that they need. People who do not put in effort to work should be out living on the streets and suffering for making others work for them and support them. Some people think that the government is there for everything and will be there to hand out money when everything seems to be getting hard for them but in real life, the government does not just hand out money to just anyone. However, there are things such as financial aid and food stamps that the government is willing to give out to people who absolutely need it. Widowed mothers who have to stay home and raise their kids and can not go out and get a job because she can not afford a babysitter and her children are way too young to stay home alone. Some people can not help that they are poor and need support from other people to take care of them. Without the government they would be in trouble and have nothing, but there is no excuse for the people who are just too lazy to go out and get a job and do not want to work for their money. They want everyone else to do it for them. Taking money from the government and from the people who have jobs and pay taxes is wrong.
To a certain point it is wrong to take from the people who earn the money. The example about the single mother I gave above was something that people can not help. Some people in the world sometimes just can not work. They are disabled and can not always find a business or a place to work where they would actually be employed. Others become drunks or drug addicts and can not get jobs because they are to involved in that stuff to even consider it. A lot of people who are living on the streets and are begging people for money usually use the money for drugs and alcohol, not food and stuff that actually is important for you.
The welfare system is increasing all the time, and I do not think it is all that great of an idea because the government sometimes does not realize who they are giving money to, and they think that the people they are giving money to actually needs the money. Money from the government usually helps out people a lot, but people should not be taking advantage of it and using the money they get from the government to supply things they absolutely do not need. Another thing is that people who pay taxes, it usually all goes to the people who do not have money, or for fixing up the state such as roads and highways. Why would people who can easily get a job, take money from taxes that people with jobs pay, when we could be making our state a better place and giving more money to people who really need it.
There are mothers in the Unites States who have to give up their kids because they can not give them the care that they need and can not feed them the food they need to eat because people in the world are stubborn and think they need the money more then anyone else when really all they have to do is get a job.
The government needs to start taking some action and thinking about who they give the money to and if they really need it because there is people out there suffering so much because they do not have money to keep themselves healthy and they can not get jobs. The government needs to take charge and figure something out. If they are going to increase welfare, then something should be done to know if the people who are getting welfare actually need it. Some people are taking the government’s money for granted because in the end the state could go down hill. People who get hurt while working such as on construction and can not work anymore for the rest of their life should be getting money from the government to support themselves and their family.
The government does needs to recognize what is going on in today’s society and know that some people do not really need the money from the government to get what they really need. As for the people they need to stop being lazy and got and get a job to support themselves. That way they do not always depend on others for help.
