How to get started
 

We depend on you to locate the good things going on in your communities. We will publicize them here. The Foundation provides examples and forms that can be used or not, as well as lapel pins and Internet exposure for local efforts.

YOU MAY ALSO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM BY:

1) downloading the information in the school and youth group folder  and making sure it gets into the hands of the appropriate party at your local high school

2) delivering an invitation to local public officials and service clubs.

3) nominating a local organization for recognition.

4) submitting an application as a member of a group, which, in your opinion, is eligible to receive White Hat lapel pins.

5) forwarding to your local media information found here, or local stories that you shared with  us. Better still, use your own words and write an article, or just a few paragraphs, describing and endorsing the program and send it to print and electronic publishers.

When you are ready to join this positive movement let us know and we will send you the materials by email and USPS.

The Harry Singer Foundation hopes to sponsor a conference where the best efforts in various categories would be honored and hopefully, replicated by attendees.  In the meantime we will provide schools, scout leaders, religious organizations with youth groups White Hat pins.

We once again invite you to participate in all aspects of our White Hats program--- school, public and private sectors. We CAN make a difference!
