Candidates: $$ in war chest and chance of winning and consumer interest

Schools: name recognition of candidate and consumer interest

The media divided their answers between only two choices, as noted above. Candidates and schools also chose the following in descending order of preference:

Candidates: name recognition and party affiliation and duty to inform

Schools: chance of winning and duty to inform and $$ in war chest
