"I have done a survey and my results show teens have a lot of responsibility when it comes to cheating. I asked if they had ever cheated on a test and many of them said they hadn't and wouldn't even if they knew they could get away with it. The majority of them said that they turn in most, if not all, of their homework."

"I think that fully automatic guns should be off the street. These kinds of weapons belong in the military and they should be left there. People should be allowed to have hunting rifles... I would [rule] that you would have to have a special license to own a pistol. However, people should have the right to own a pistol so they can protect themselves and their families. Remember that it is the person who discharges the firearm that is to be responsible for the outcome of his or her actions."

"I would get a security system for my house so my kids will not sneak out to go to a party. Every week I would evaluate their rooms to check for any trace of drugs. When they would go out I would have them come back at twelve and I would stay up to make sure they came home alright."
