"We need to stress the values of hard work, self-reliance, and responsibility to family. If we teach these values other problems, such as racism, could be drastically reduced since children will be viewing each other in terms of merit and not on the basis of their skin color. ...If we simply teach students about hard work and content of character, children are not going to be prejudiced."
