"Personally, I do not like the English System.  It is too risky for some people. Just think, your mom died because a doctor was negligent.  You sued the doctor.  Because there was not enough evidence to convict him, you lost.  On top of all of t he hospital bills, here you are paying the doctor (who probably has more money than he knows what to do with) and the lawyer bills plus your own legal fees.
