safety and security for the 410,000 students in Chicago's public schools. With
the help of his former police comrades, Sams has organized and introduced SAFE:
Schools Are For Education. Ever since SAFE was introduced, there has not been
one single shooting, in the district, during school hours. His success has
influenced other major cities to [copy] his program."
