A Better Life In Your Community
By Spence Ritchey
Junior
A community can be improved in many
ways. The first step would be community improvements, especially in the weaker areas. Another important step is community attractions,
which will bring tourists to your area. This will enhance the amount of money gained by
your community. The inhabitants of the
community are the most important key to a peaceful and jovial community. Their needs should also be top priority.
When the spotlight is centered upon
the community strengths and weaknesses, a few things should come to mind: youth, schools,
parks/recreation, and churches. One of the main concerns in dealing with youth is
violence. There are far too many places where
Americas youth can find ways to purchase guns or make explosives. If the youth of America would have youth groups or
a youth center, violence would not be as bad in communities across the United States. Schools could also be another community focus that
ties in with youth. School sponsored events,
such as drama clubs and athletics, are constructive organizations for young people. These
organizations teach kids discipline and the value of teamwork.
Recreation centers and parks can also
be a step in the right direction for a community. This
gives the people something to do in their spare time.
People of all ages can benefit from these advantages. Recreation center will provide the community with
a place where town events may be held, like dances, reunions, and banquets. Playgrounds can also add valuable recreational
time for the children of the community. Churches
are another important focus that help build a well balanced community. Concerns such as
attendance and funding are valuable keys to the establishment.
The communitys appearance is
another important factor. Communities should keep the streets and sidewalks clear for
pedestrians traveling through the town. Buildings
and houses should also be kept looking nice. Ordinances
should be set and enforced for those who refuse to keep their property looking
presentable. Town buildings should be kept
looking attractive or else torn down, which will gives the community an brighter
appearance.
Housing, such as low income housing
and apartments, should be provided in the community.
Ordinances such as noise and maintenance should be set and enforced. Apartments should be available for those who need
a place to stay. Hotels and motels should
also be provided for those traveling through the town.
Lodging is a very important link to establishing a good community.
Job opportunities are also vital in
an admirable community. They will bring people into the community. This will increase the
amount of money made by the community and by the people in the community, and salaries
should also be reasonable. This will keep the
workers happy, and give the businesses a pleasant working environment. Police departments are very important keys to
living a secure life in the community. They
can help keep the youth off the streets and reduce violence in the community. Fire
departments serve greatly in the
protection of all citizens.
Community attractions can also draw
people into the community. This will help the community to be successful. Attractions such as, theater productions, like
concerts and plays, will bring people from all over into your community. Fairs and circuses would do the same and could
also be enjoyed by the people of the community. Shopping
malls would be an excellent source of income for the community. They would also add job opportunities for a lot of
people in it. Restaurant chains could also
be located near the shopping malls. These restaurants would add to the income of the
community.
Health care is another important part
of the community. Hospitals, health centers,
and childrens hospitals, and special care units would affect every person in the
community. Specialist like chiropractors,
neurologists, eye doctors, and dentists will also give the people of the community more
security. Marriage counselors and
psychiatrists will help each citizen solve their problems.
Senior citizens are another concern
in a community. It is important to have
senior citizens involved in the community. Senior
citizen groups can be assembled to get seniors involved in the community. Housing is another concern when dealing with
senior citizens. Nursing homes should be
available to those who are in need of someone to assist them in their everyday life. Senior citizen buildings could also be built to
give the them someplace to go and socialize.
All these things can be combined to
create a great community. The people would
live in a nice town with no worries, if everyone could just join together to make their
communities a better place to live and raise a family.
People of all ages could enjoy the attractions and have a better life in their
community.

Q1- Society invests in marriage by

investing in marriage and buying into the system that we created.
