The Role Of Responsibility Today

Every day it seems to me that the quality of life in American communities is making little or no improvement.  To make things even worse, most of the time I feel that the whole world is just getting more terrible by the minute.  Every time I turn on the news,  the stories seem to get more and more gruesome. Things like school shootings and people being killed without reason are becoming common occurrences. This is the tragedy of America and the world today.  This deterioration of the quality of life today has many causes. The main cause,  in my opinion,  is the irresponsibility of the people living on this earth. This is not to say that there are not responsible people in this world  (to say this would be a lie because there are always people out there trying to make this world a better place), but if more people accepted their responsibilities this world would be a much better place. Most people are neglecting to accept many personal responsiblities but I think the main ones being neglected are; the responsibility of getting married for true love, the responsibility of having kids only when married, and the responsibilty of making sure your kids are raised well. These are some of the important responsibilities that play an important roll in determining the quality of life in our communities today.

 

The first responsibility many people in today’s modern society are refusing to accept is to get married only  for true love, not for money or other reasons. I think that if a kid grows up with parents who love each other then the kid in turn will also learn to love and care for others. On the other hand if a kid lives in a family that fights day and night then he or she will only learn to fight and hate others. The reason that a child should learn to love and care for others is because a person who cares will always make more responsible and informed decisions. A responsible person will always think about how his or her decisions and actions will affect others. Therefore a loving and caring person will probably rarely harm the quality of life for themselves and others.  These are the reasons why I believe that two people should get married only for true love. Without loving and caring people this earth will become a terrible place to live in.

 

The second responsibility that many people today neglect to accept is to get married before having children.  If a child does not have a mother or a father ( in some cases no parents at all )  to teach them the responsibilities of life,  then there is a good chance that child will grow up to be an irresponsible and unsuccessful adult who will only worsen the quality of life not only for his or her self but also for others.  What is even worse is that when that child grows up,  he or she may follow their parents example and have kids while being single.  This will only bring more children who are not raised properly and will grow up to be a drain on society.  Therefore this cycle of problems will continue for a long time to come unless something is done to change it.  And that is not the end of it. 

 

Many kids who grow up without parents to guide them decide to join street gangs so as to have a sense of belonging because their life is empty.  This only adds to the amount of crime in modern communities.  There are many solutions to this problem but one of the main solutions is to teach all the young people in this world to grow up and get married before deciding to have kids.  If we work hard enough to try and teach this to the young people of today the message will eventually get through .  Therefore more kids will be raised properly and so there will be more responsible and successful people in years to

come.   

 

 The third responsibility that many people refuse to accept is to be responsible enough to make sure their kids are raised well. Many parents believe that our nation’s school system should take the responsibility of teaching their children discipline,  morals,  and ethics.  It is impossible for teachers to take the role of both a parent and a teacher.  Teachers already have too many things on their hands as it is. All parents have to be responsible and teach their children discipline,  morals,  and ethics at home.  A kid who was never taught these things will probably grow up to be an adult who will decrease the quality of life in our communities.  A solution to this problem is to convince all the young people to make sure they raise their kids well.  This way many more kids will grow up  to be good responsible adults.

 

In conclusion,  the role of personal responsibility is crucial in determining the quality of life in our communities today.  If people choose to not accept the personal responsibilities that I have written about and many others then this world will see very little improvement in the years to come.  To add on to this problem, if young people today are not taught to grow up and be responsible adults then the quality of life may never improve. These are the reasons why I believe that the role of personal responsibility is very important in determining the quality of life in the world today.

In Manus financiers invest in the economic exchanges which center about marriage.  Society there endorses the tried and enduring marriages and so endorsed marriages gain greater prestige.  Unlike Manus, society in the U.S. does not invest as heavily in marriage.  In the U.S. the bride and groom and their families invest in marriage but the rest of society does not usually invest in it.  If society in the U.S. took marriages more seriously then many more marriages would last.

 He says we should measure our well being and determine whether life is getting   better  or not.  Our goal should be to improve our life.

 

A goal in our community should be to offer more things for kids to do after school.  Too many kids hit the streets the moment school is over and get into trouble.  If more things are offered there will probably be less problems.

 

I think the idea of a child carrying a doll in the image of their mother is absurd.  Nothing on earth can take the place of the love given to a child by his or her loving parents.  We have to close the gap between races and give everyone the same oppurtunities and help.

 

The lawyers act like intermediaries between individuals.  They create o form of public responsibility and accountability.  Because americans have a distrust for a central government lawyers take on many functions that in other societies are taken on by the government or civil service.  Lawyers help to fight problems such as pollution because people in the U.S. are wealthier than in other countries and so worry about more than just the basic necessities of life.  In a society as large as this one lawyers set up processes,  procedures,  and rules that enable transactions between people who don’t know each other.

 

I prefer regulations because that way people do not get an extreme amount of money they don’t deserve.

 

Many baby boomers will retire and start up their own businesses made up of older workers.  This will make older workers highly competive. Many  of the retired entrepreneurs will offer services to many generation X’ers who will be having families.  Companies may begin to offer on-site non-medical “elder care” facilities.  Increased productivity and lower absenteeism will offset the cost of facilities.

 

I don’t think his plan will make a huge impact.  One reason is because there may be many unemployed people who form a huge labor pool,  but companies will not find them useful because many can’t perform simple tasks.  The second reason is that the international rates of return are very low in poor areas so corporations will not be attracted there.  The third reason is that banks are not investing in businesses in poor areas. They are overemphasizing on home loans and this makes it hard for business in poor areas.

 

They both helped out many unfortunate kids.  They both have a strong faith in Christ.  They both still work hard,  even in old age.
