Rite of Passage?

Either a perfect world or a perfectly good waste. Both are the visions we get from a glimpse of the future in any movie. But who is responsible for this? One thing for sure it is not because of just one person. Well, to solve a problem, first you have to identify the problem. The problem today is that parents are becoming to lazy. Parent need to start teaching their kids at a young age. Then what they teach they must make sure is all facts. So the kids get an early start. This puts a big and important weight on each individual parent to make sure their kids get the right idea.

The Diogenes said, The foundation of every state is the education of its youth.’ This means that the future is through the education of the youth. As kids, we trust the information from our parents is correct no matter what they say. If a parent tells a kid that a three looks like a four then he will believe that until he is corrected. Even when this is corrected, the kid will still believe that a four is actually a three. No matter what anyone says, the major figures who teach this are the parents. This means that each individual parent must take their child and teach the things that a child should know.

Now we have the root of the problem. What is wrong with the parents? First of all the are entirely to young. More and more high schools are being forced to start daycare center. This in the past would not even be considered and should not be considered in the present or future. Second of all people are getting married for all the wrong reasons and then getting a divorce. People are getting married for his name not safety, acceptance not happiness, and money not love.

Now it seems that a teenage girl is not complete unless she is married and has a baby. This means people get married before they find out about each other or are even ready. Just because you are 29 and everyone else you know is married does marry the next guy who walks in the door. All it means you have not tried the right places. The goals change from I want to get married some day to I have to get married today. These are the type of goals that need to be changed, all they are saying is that you have to fit the picture. Marriage is something that needs to be taught to kids that it will not always come to you in a nicely wrapped package with a bow on the top. Sometimes you need to try a little bit harder. Give it time and eventually everything will work out.

Who is wrongfully accused in mis-educating the youth? Television is one of the major responses from the “experts” to the question of who mis-educates the youth. That is as stupid, tired, and boring as asking a kid of why did the chicken cross the road. Television is an entertainment, not an educator. This can be stopped by just doing two things. First the parents just need to talk to the kids when they are young. They need to tell them that what happens in the movies is fake, and that the people really do not die. The killers are really just guys in suites that are playing pretend and are just faking. Just tell them not to do things they see on television unless you say it is okay.

The second most accused groups are musicians. That is almost as bed as saying television is at fault for violence. Music lyrics can be dealt with the same way as television shows. Just sit down with your kids and talk with them. Tell the kids that deep down they are the same as you but they are just trying to set a trend. With every kid that tries something because of television song or of a lyric and I will show you a father that is never around.

The classification that all parents are to blame is not entirely true. It’s not all the parent. It is just all of the negligent parents. Being a parent is just like being in a marriage. it takes love, understanding, and communication. Parents need to keep an open line of communication with their kids. If parents would tell their kids of things the have happened to them, and the results and consequences of what happened to them. So they can learn from your mistakes. It might not seem like it at first, but that is because things take a long time to fix. Parents are the key to fixing the future of society. If the movies are right about the future and everything is going to be a wasteland, and parents do not straighten up. Then you better prepare not to fight for money, but to fight for life.

1. In Manus economy people invest in marriages as we do in banks. The family of the male child gives dog teeth and shell money to convince the female’s family they should marry. Then later on the female’s family returns the favor and pays back in pigs and oil. Marriage in the U.S. is more involved in the feeling of the couple. The couples date for as long as they seem necessary. Then if they both feel it is going to work out they get married, but if not they repeat it again with another person.

5. The comments in the article ”Tomorrow’s Child” are mainly true. But I don’t agree on that they think it will be a big gap and hard to get out of. It is basically if your parents can work hard and find a job. That they can become a success at.

6. Lawyers in America create a form of public responsibility and accountability. And that would not be so in any other state of government. Lawyers make is so that one type of person does not get cheated out of being treated equally.

7. Changes should be made by regulations not punitive changes. Then they change because they should be changed not because of something happening somewhere. If they change by regulation then the change because a group of people decided to raise up people and not let it wait until it is to big of a problem.

8. The early retirement will have more elders retired earlier and maybe more will try to start their own business. That would create more jobs. Secondly with early retirement it would provide for younger entrepreneurs. Finally some teens might also try to make their own business. Then these jobs would provide better health care, home shopping, travel, and recreation.

9. The plan by Bill Clinton will not work, it has to many holes in it. The first part of his plan will not work. If the land starts off at worth nothing how are you going to make it cheaper. The second part of his plan is the same as the first. You can not buy public interest for cheap. The final part of his plan will not work because of the poor. I they are poor how are they going to pay the bank,

10. Tom Lewis started his school in a run down part of town. Truett started his chicken shop in old burnt down shops. Both Tom and Truett are taking care of kids that are having a tough time getting their life started. Both Tom and Truett are not taking huge steps, but are getting the ball rolling on making people’s lives better.
