The Role Of Personal Responsibility In Improving
The Quality Of Life In Our Communities Today

I live in a small community of about 573 people, but we are growing everyday. Our community has a great school system and it is well supported by the town. We do many things to help make our community better, but we can do so much more.

 

The kids of Paoli often get bored on the weekends. This causes people to go out and do things that sometimes get them into trouble. It would be great if our town had something to entertain the kids. If we had a community center where teens could have fun, it would be a great help. This could be a place where friends could meet and play games. This center could even prove to be a way to make kids feel like they are a part of something. Instead of getting mixed up in gangs teens would have a place with a good atmosphere where they could spend their time.

 

Also, our community has many great churches in our community. It would be nice if maybe once or twice a month we could all combine and have a time of fellowship. This would help in getting people acquainted with each other. The churches could have fundraisers as a group to raise money for the community. This money could then be used to help the needy people in our community, or a family that is going through a hard time. The area churches already pull together to help a family when they lose a loved one. We could also start a group that welcomes new families into the community. This way the churches would take their focus off being separate denominations, but a group of Christians.

 

Also, the younger generations and older generations have a lot of misunderstandings about one another. Young people need to realize they can learns a lot from the older generation because they have been in some of the same situations the teen are going through. The older generation can also benefit from the younger generation. It would nice for our community to start a program for the young people in which they spend time with an elderly person from the community. This time could be spent by having the older person help the teens with school work they are having trouble with. The teens could help the older person with things they needed done, but aren't able to do. I know sometimes the elderly can't get out and rake up the leaves in their yards or go to the store. This time spent together with one another would help both parties to realize that each have good qualities and can learn and benefit from each other.

 

Teens are starting to look for jobs, but often have trouble finding one because of the lack of experience. Our communities could help in this area. It would help if we could get a program started where the teens could work in a type of job they thought they would enjoy as a volunteer. This way they would know if they would really enjoy that field of work. They would also learn what it means to be given responsibilities and be counted on by someone. Not only would this help the teen by giving the needed experience, but it could also profit the business.

 

We can also benefit and change the quality of our community by changing and making the appearance better. The school sometimes takes a day where we spend time cleaning up the grounds, planting flowers, and planting trees. We could easily take a day where the whole town pitches in and cleans up the streets and old buildings. We also need to build sidewalks around the town and invest in more street lights. Each household can do their part by making sure their yard stays clean and neat. With everyone taking part the job can't be that hard.

 

We can also improve our community economically. Several businesses are in town already, but it would be great if we had more. This would not only bring money into the town, but it would cause our town to grow in number as well.

 

As far as I am concerned my community's one of the best. We really don't have a lot of violence or things like that. We are just a small country town with great people living here, but everyone can use improvement. When we all pull together to do our part of making our community  a better place, it won't be long until we start to see a difference. When we all start realizing that things won't get done until we do them ourselves then we will start to see a change in our community's, not only in appearance, but in people's attitudes toward the town and one another. When we make our community a better place we are helping others, and in turn helping ourselves.

5. I don't feel it is a good thing for a child to put a doll in place of their mother. I t teaches them a bad way of handling things by using substitutions. America needs to get over the issue of racism and work together. One ethnic group shouldn't be worse off than another, because of backgrounds and skin color.

(2)Diversity- We are a heterogeneous society which causes problems and lawyers can help.

(3)Wealth- Money makes people stingy. Some people want money to go here while other want it to go there. This creates problems and lawyers can settle it.

(4) Size- Lawyers help to achieve economies of scale. Help save money on repeat transactions by helping you set up processes, procedures, and rules that allow people who don't know each        other to do business in a cheaper way.

(2) They will hire other retirees which will create a business for older people.

(3) Provide teens to help elderly who stay home.

(1) How can he help over there when his own country has homeless and poverty stricken people.

(2) If you give a poor person a job, unless you make them use the money for food and housing they will probably spend it on their habits.

(3) Sometimes people don't want help.
