Traditions - Deaths

"Mother played the piano for funerals (silent movies, weddings-you name it) from the age of 11, so it was only natural that she would play for her own service (she left lots of tapes). She chose a minister who would preach the gospel of Jesus Christ so everyone present would have an opportunity to hear the message of salvation. That was important to her. The minister read scriptures and sayings from Mom's worn out bible and the happy mourners related stories about how they were personally touched by her example. Mom was 92 when she passed on June, 1996."
