Volunteers might agree to perform bookkeeping or other office tasks, gardening, hauling, make deliveries, manage or supervise, paint, repair, entertain or even operate a daycare center. It is also possible that a business entity might find the new business and/or good publicity generated by hosting the Volunteer Corps Center would be a good bargain by itself.

The concept works two ways. When working on entrepreneurial projects, as part of the fundraising aspects of Another Way , recipients of services may show their gratitude by trading services, equipment or property which can be parceled out to individual nonprofit entities just like dollars.

Dollars are useful only for what they can purchase. That may be a new concept for some young people and a concept forgotten by most of society. Lately we have come to admire money, for itself and the people who acquire it are too often admired simply for having it; how they acquired it is overlooked. The Godfather movies are a case in point.
